The story is a classic Halloween yarn about three witches from Salem in the late seventeenth century. They were discovered to be using witchcraft, so they were hanged. But before they went, the older sister, Winnie, cast a spell so that on Halloween night when a virgin lit a candle used in Dark spells called the Black Flame Candle, they would rise again. Three hundred years later, a teenager named Max lit the candle to show off for his crush and to scare his sister. Unfortunately, the magic worked and they had to defeat the witches.
All three witches were cast perfectly. All three ladies are so incredibly funny together. This is a very good movie to watch around Halloween. The whole atmosphere is just filled with the fun and mysteries of that night. boo! Sorry for ending my review cornily.

It took me almost a decade to learn that the Sanderson sisters actually put a spell on the adults. Fun fact, I was actually born in 1993 on the day that this movie, Hocus Pocus, was released as well as Free Willy. So while those two movies were playing up on the big screen on July 16th, 1993 I had just entered this world. Very surreal to believe. Lol, yet I never really saw those two films much in my life ironically.

Genial. Es la primera vez que la veo y me encanto. The line Hello, Salem! My name's Winnifred, what's yours? is a nod to another famous Bette Midler role, as Madam Rose in Gypsy. I know I'm a little late but I'm a huge fan of the original hocus pocus and would be exited about a sequel no matter what, but honestly I think it would be a mistake to not include the original cast. Or at least a few of them.

August 14th at 2 Am is close enough to Halloween, totally very much close enough to watch the best live-action Halloween movie ever made. (Its the best in my opinion and nobody can change my mind. OMG DISNEY PLEASE MAKE THE ONE WITH WINNIE ON BROADWAY. Now this is what I call perfection!😍❤️❤️❤️. I want the original characters or I wont watch it dont think there should be another one to be honest. Hocus pocus my favorite movie I used to be scared 😱 🤣 Titanic 2 they gonna make one too 11-10-19. Billy was played by Doug Jones? How did I not notice that! Hes brilliant. Ive had genuine fights about this movie so this is all blasphemy to me. 3:44 like I said, the good thing there all A live 👍🎖.

RIP,Penny Marshall. The story sounds great. I love that Hocus Pocus song,and Dove Cameron's voice and performances. D. God this movie is awful, I do not get why it's so popular I got maybe 40 minutes into it and it was one of the most annoying movies I've ever seen. could not sit to the rest of it. this is one of those movies you watch when you're a kid and then enjoy watching when you're an adult because of the memorys, but when watching this for the first time as an adult it just comes off as stupid. i'm aware of the fact it's not supposed to be a scary Halloween movie, but I was hoping it wouldn't be as stupid as it was.

Wow I like this season. 0:19 the original creator of tiktok hand over face thing. 0:19 me when ever my teacher ask me a question. Damn right this will never get old! loved this movie as a kid, my kids need to learn to love it as well <3. Bette has been in a Disney movie before -she voiced Georgette in Oliver and Company. I blame this movie for the thousands of tourists in my city every year. It's probably not the movies fault but I blame it anyways. WHYIS THIS AGE RESTRICTED. 1:05 LMAO.
